What it means when you sign
This article is about e-commerce. Providers registered in the State who work in e-commerce must give consumers and the competent authorities in the State their names, legal status, addresses and licensing authorities. They must also give sufficient information in Arabic about the commodity or service, its specifications, and the terms of contracting, payment and warranty, as the Executive Regulation of the Law prescribes. A second paragraph says the Ministry or competent authority is not responsible for e-commerce transactions made through providers that are not licensed within the State.
When you are about to sign or accept online terms, this article means that a registered provider is expected to disclose who it is, where it is licensed, and the key contract, payment and warranty terms in Arabic. Missing business details or terms available only in another language may be measured against this article. It also shows that dealing with an unlicensed provider carries a different position, since the authority is not responsible for those transactions. The items to check are the provider's name, licence details, address and the stated terms.
Not yet cited in a Fahm report; shown because it sits in the same chapter as one that is.
